The Brazilian aircraft manufacurer Embraer have developed a new airliner Embraer 190-E2 from it´s predecessor Embraer 190. Embraer 190-E2 has a 17% lower fuel-burn than the Embraer 190. The lion part of this reduction comes from the new engines Pratt & Whitney PW1900G but also from new wing aerodynamics and the fly by wire-system. The new engines have a considerably larger fan diameter. At the same time Embraer wanted to maintain landing gear height. The wing has there fore got a new gullshape. |
The demo aircraft PR-ZGQ has spent the night parked outdoors. Now in the morning of September 6th 2018 the weather has turned quite foggy |
